| Deep within the boreal forest of Wabakimi Provincial Park hides this large lake, accessible only by sea plane. Plentifully populated with moose, bald eagles and walleye, this lake is just one of 250,000 that perforate northern Ontario, and are interconnected by millions of streams, which form one, huge flowing wetland ecosystem. In fact, covering distance by foot is impossible, and must be done by canoe. Logging, one of Canada's most important industries, encroaches ever closer to lake Kenoji. |
