At first this seems to be a paradox; the Milky Way shining during afternoon sun, but this photo shows how time can manipulate light. A long exposure allowed the light from the bright moon to “burn” itself on to the scene, appearing as daylight. Standing motionless in the night with my tripod is ethereal, as nocturnal animals become active and meteorites shoot past. Bats, Mice, and Toads zipped around the desert. After sitting on the ground, I stood up to find that a Giant Desert Hairy Scorpion had taken rest beneath me.
