The eccentric lunar landscape of Bisti Badlands lends itself well to shooting start photography. It’s tremendous fun to browse through this giant sculpture gallery and find the perfect shapes to compose an interesting foreground for star trails. To compose this photo, I exposed continuously for 30 minutes to creat the natural star trails, and used the bright half moon to illuminate the landscape.
